This verse offers a powerful reminder: when you lose something for the sake of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى), or in the process of staying firm upon the truth, Allah promises better in return. It encourages patience (ṣabr), trust (tawakkul), and hope (rajāʾ), especially during trials or personal losses.
This verse revives the heart with hope. What is lost is never truly gone—with Allah (تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى), something better is always on its way.
And as always, لله أعلم (God knows best).
